![]() While your IP doesn't change, you have two workarounds which I tried and they worked: If it's static, like mentioned above, you'll have to contact your ISP. If anyone is facing this problem currently, there's no need to go through everything I mentioned in my post before (I wish I knew this before, damn those websites which give generic lists to fix very specific problems that never work) because the problem lies in your IP address itself if it's dynamic, you'll have to force it or wait for it to change. It's worth noting that the IP I had when I couldn't login didn't have any bad score on. ![]() It seems my IP eventually changed by itself. Yesterday I was about to leave my router off for the night but decided to try logging in again and, surprise, now it works. Though if this issue appears to begin with, it's most likely your IP is dynamic and it should thank you for your reply! If IP still doesn't change, then contact your ISP so they do it manually. If your IP didn't change, turn off router for longer time (i.e. Do the same after you turn router back on. But before you do so, go to and check your IP. I will attempt to tether the connection as suggested in this thread to at least login once but even if it does work, is this the only way? It's ridiculous that a triple A game has this massive issue where paying costumers can't play the game properly. Like other users have reported, doesn't open in my network, but does if I use data on my phone. Turned off my router for 10 minutes after doing all the ipconfig stuff in an elevated (admin) command promptĬhecked that the launch options on both Steam and Epic are all clear and not forcing the offline modeĪttempted to run RSC with admin privilegesĬhecked that my DNS was properly configured (tried both Google and Cloudfare)Ĭhecked my internet speed - it's performing nicely in any other game or launcherĬhecked multiple times the service status. Verified integrity of game files (even though it was a clean install) various times Restarted PC multiple times after attempting all these fixes Tried everything suggested in this official help page: ![]() I have searched on many different websites and reddit posts about this error and I think I've already tried everything suggested, on both Steam and Epic games (different RSC accounts also), including:Ī clean install of GTA V and Rockstar Games Launcher twice, through Steam and Epic Games (separate occasions)ĭeleted the Rockstar Games Launcher folder after a clean install of GTA V to force it to re-download but I digress.įor the past few days I've been trying to play GTA V and Rockstar Games Launcher simply won't let me login nor play the game. Thanks.I was going to start a new topic on this but I'll use this one instead I'm surprised this is still an issue almost 4 years after the first post. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated, guys. I have searched everywhere for a solution, asked reddit, the steam forums, and now I'm all out of options. Even my friend who has the same internet provider as me. Now, the kicker to this is that all my friends can login to the game and connect to the website just fine. I also tried validating the files (I'm on PC, Steam), changing DNS servers (I don't know if I did it correctly, though), unplugging and re plugging my internet/ethernet cable, which all failed to fix the problem. Tried re installing GTA which somehow worked for a day but the problem resurfaces the next day. I have tried re downloading and re installing social club to no avail. Also tried connecting to the website with my phone via mobile data, connected just fine. tried using VPN to connect to the website, it connected but doesn't display anything, don't know what that means though. I can connect to other websites just fine which I think rules out any internet connection problem. Same goes for the website, I can't connect to, it just says that it can't be reached and that the site took too long to respond. But now I can't login to my social club account in-game, it just puts me on offline mode and says the rockstar servers are unreachable. So, I've never had this problem before, GTA was fine weeks ago.
